Why is my BoothBook Bill so high?

Explaining how BoothBook Billing works with a mid month upgrade

Last Update 2 years ago

Sometimes your bill will be more than the standard billing price, this normally is due to 2 reasons.

1. You are in the UK. This means that you will be subject to VAT at 20% on top of each payment for your subscription.

2. You have upgraded since your last bill.

You pay a month in advance. If were on the basic and upgraded mid month, You will need to pay for the additional features for the month.

For example if you upgraded just after your subscription renewal for month 2 from Basic to Pro. You will have just paid £39.99 for month 2, but you should have paid £59.99 for month 2, which means that the following month will have £59.99 for the upcoming month (month 3) + the extra £20 for the time spent on Pro after paying for Basic on month 2. So your total bill on Month 3 will be £59.99 + £20 = £79.99. (there may also be Vat added to these numbers if you are in the UK.

To see this please make sure you view your invoice in Global Settings> Account & Billing> Download.
