How to Add a Travel Fee to Your Booking Form
If your business charges customers a travel fee based on the distance to their booking location, you can easily add a Travel Fee field to your booking form.
Follow the steps below to set this up:
Select Bookings from the main left menu and then click the Forms tab. Find the booking form you would like to add the travel fee to and open it in the form builder.
In the form builder, decide where you would like the travel fee to appear on your booking form. Click the blue + button in the location where you want to add the new field.
Scroll through the available fields and select Travel Fee. The Travel Fee field will now be added to your form.
With the Travel Fee field selected, you'll see the field settings on the right-hand side.
Under Origin, select where the travel calculation should start from. This will usually be your business address.
Next, select the Destination. The Destination is the location where the booking or service will take place. Select Your Venue: Address so the customer's event location can be used for the travel calculation.
Once you've selected both the Origin and Destination, save your booking form.
We recommend completing a test booking to make sure the travel fee is being calculated correctly and appearing as expected before your form is made available to customers.
