Adding your events to Google or Outlook Calendars

Connect your Google or Outlook calendar

You can connect your Google or Microsoft calendar to add your shifts or events to your personal calendar.

This is set up from your profile. Once connected, you will be asked to give Google or Microsoft permission to add the relevant calendar items.

Connect a calendar

  1. Click your icon or initials in the bottom-left corner of the system.

  2. Click Profile.

  3. Open the Availability tab.

  4. Under Calendar Settings, find Calendar Add to Events Too. You will also see Calendar Check for Conflicts in this section.

  5. Click Add Calendar.

  6. Choose Connect with Google to use a Google calendar, or Connect with Microsoft to use an Outlook calendar through your Microsoft account.

  7. Follow the sign-in window that opens and give Google or Microsoft permission to connect the calendar.

Once you have completed the permission steps, your calendar is connected and can be used to add your shifts or events.

If the sign-in window does not open

Your browser may be blocking the sign-in window as a pop-up.

Allow pop-ups for the system, then return to Profile, open the Availability tab and click Add Calendar again.

Make sure you sign in with the Google or Microsoft account that contains the calendar you want to use.

Calendar settings

The Availability tab contains the calendar settings for your user profile.

Calendar Check for Conflicts relates to checking calendar availability. Calendar Add to Events Too is where you connect a Google or Microsoft calendar to add shifts or events.

You can return to this section whenever you need to review your calendar connection.
