How to delete records: leads, bookings, contacts and more
Deleting a lead, a booking, a contact, a task, a project, a proposal, a service, a package, a product, a unit, a user, a team, a venue, a supplier, an expense category, an automation or a file all work exactly the same way. Deleting doesn't remove the record straight away. It's soft deleted, moved to Trash, and given 30 days to be recovered before it's gone for good.
How to delete a record
Open the three dot menu (...) on whatever you're looking at, a lead in your pipeline, a booking, a contact card, a task, a project, a proposal, a service, a package, a product, a unit, a user, a team, a venue, a supplier, an expense category, an automation, or a file. Choose Delete, then confirm.
That's the whole process, and it's identical regardless of which record type you're deleting. There's no separate procedure to learn for one entity over another.
