Setting up different pricing for weekday vs weekend or peak-season events

Setting Up Different Pricing for Weekday vs. Weekend or Peak-Season Events

If you want to charge different prices depending on when an event falls (e.g. weekends cost more than weekdays, or a peak season has its own rate), you can do this by creating separate packages and using Limit Visibility to control which package shows up based on the event date. This means you don't have to manually decide pricing for each booking - the system does it for you.

Overview

  1. Create two (or three) versions of the package - e.g. Weekday Package, Weekend Package, Peak Season Package - each with its own price.

  2. Add a Limit Visibility condition to each package based on the event date.

  3. Only the package that matches the customer's chosen event date will show up / be selectable at booking - no manual pricing decisions needed.

Step 1: Go to the Store

From the left-hand sidebar, click Store.

Step 2: Add a Service (if you don't already have one)

If you don't already have a relevant service set up, add one first. Packages are created underneath a service.

Step 3: Add a Package

Within the service, add a new Package. You'll create one package per pricing tier (e.g. one for weekdays, one for weekends, one for peak season).

Step 4: Fill in the package details

For each package, go through the tabs to fill in:

  • Details - name and description (e.g. "Weekend Package")

  • Included Products - what's included in this package

  • Pricing - set the price for this specific package (e.g. your weekend rate)

Step 5: Set the Limit Visibility conditions

Go to the Limit Visibility tab. Here you can choose whether the package should show when it matches ANY of the conditions below, or only when it matches ALL of them. Then click Add new condition and set up the rule for that package:

  • Weekend package → Event start date Is on day Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • Weekday package → Event start date Is not on day Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • Peak season package → Event date Is between 01/06/27 and 31/08/27 (adjust to your actual peak season dates)

You can also click Add second condition set if you need more complex logic (e.g. combining a date range with a day-of-week rule).

Step 6: Save

Click Save once you've set the condition(s) for each package.

Result

When a customer selects their event date at checkout, only the package matching that date's rules will be visible/selectable - so a Saturday event will only show the Weekend Package price, a Tuesday event will only show the Weekday Package price, and so on.
