How to update your default Booking Contract

How contracts work in BoothBook

Every booking made through BoothBook automatically generates its own contract - you never have to draft or send one manually. As soon as a booking is created (whether the client books themselves through your online booking flow, or you create it manually in the admin), the system pulls your saved contract template and personalises it with that booking's specific details.

What gets filled in automatically

The contract template uses variables that pull data straight from the booking, so each contract is unique to that client and event without you touching a thing. Typical fields include things like:

  • Client name and contact details

  • Event date, start/end time, and venue/address

  • Package/service booked and any add-ons

  • Total price, deposit amount, and balance due

  • Payment schedule/due dates

How to update your default Booking Contract

  2. Click on Contracts.

  3. Click on the Default Booking Contract to view and edit your default contract.

  4. Update your default contract text to suit your business and terms.
