You can connect your Google or Microsoft calendar so the jobs and shifts assigned to you appear in your personal calendar. You can also connect a calendar so that anything already in it blocks out your availability.
Both are set up from your own profile, so each member of your team connects their own calendar.
Connect a calendar
Click your icon or initials in the bottom-left corner of the system.
Click Profile.
Open the Availability tab.
Under Calendar Settings, find Calendars to add events to and click Add Calendar next to it.
Choose Connect with Google to use a Google calendar, or Connect with Microsoft to use an Outlook calendar through your Microsoft account.
Follow the sign-in window that opens and give Google or Microsoft permission to connect the calendar.
Once you've completed the permission steps, your calendar is connected.
Checking your calendar for conflicts
Calendars to check for conflicts, in the same section, works the other way round. Connect a calendar here and anything in it counts as busy time, so you won't be offered for bookings when you're already busy. Click Add Calendar next to it and follow the same steps.
Why aren't my bookings showing in my calendar?
Calendars to add events to only adds the jobs and shifts that are assigned to you. Connecting your calendar doesn't copy every booking in the business into it.
If a booking isn't showing, open it and check that you're assigned to a shift on it. Once you're assigned, it will be added to your calendar. See How to add and assign shifts to a job as an admin.
If the sign-in window does not open
Your browser may be blocking the sign-in window as a pop-up.
Allow pop-ups for the system, then return to Profile, open the Availability tab and click Add Calendar again.
Make sure you sign in with the Google or Microsoft account that contains the calendar you want to use.
