How to allow Customers to make Payments in the client portal

How to allow Customers to make Payments in the client portal and configure the Make Payment block in the Client Portal.

  1. Go to your Profile Icon (bottom left) > Settings

  2. Select Client Portal from the menu.

  3. On your chosen Brand, click the Ellipsis (3 dots) and select Edit Client Portal.

  4. Click Edit Layout.

  5. Click +Add Block.

  6. Click on the Make Payment Block (so it has a blue outline) and click OK.

  7. Click Turn edit mode off.

  8. Locate the Make Payment Block and click the Ellipsis (3 dots). The Block Settings will appear

  9. The top Bar is the Title of the Block.

  10. Half Width toggle chooser allows you to display the Block in either Half Width or Full Width.

  11. Options > Suggested Amounts toggle chooser gives the options of Deposit, 50% Remaining, 100% Remaining and Custom.

  12. Minimum Payment Amount - choose a minimum amount for the client to pay.

  13. Options > Visibility > Require Signed Contract If the toggle is turned on, and the contract is signed, the make payment block will show to the client. Turn the toggle off to allow the client to make a payment at any time.

  14. Options > Visibility > Date Logic. Click on the Dropdown Menu to display the option from the list - e.g Always Display or 3 months before Event Date

  15. Options > Remove to remove the Block if necessary. The block will only be removed once you have clicked Save.

  16. Should you need to add the Block again, you can add it back in by clicking on Edit Layout and then +Add Block.

  17. The Widget box will open. Click on the Make Payment Block and click OK. The block will now be added back in.

  18. To edit the layout, click on Edit Layout and this will allow you to move each block around by hovering over the block, and when the hand appears over the block, click and hold over the block and move it. Once finished, click on Turn edit mode off.

  19. Click Save.
