How to create a custom block in the client portal
Use custom blocks to add your own text or html code. These can be simple title and description blocks, or by adding some HTML you can make them more dynamic. An example of this is to embed your Calendly Widget code into the Content box.
- Go to your Profile Icon (bottom left) > Settings
- Select Client Portal from the menu
- On your chosen Brand, click the Ellipsis (3 dots) and select Edit Client Portal.
- Click on Edit Layout.
- Click on +Add Block.
- Click on the Custom Block (so it has a blue outline) and click OK and the custom block will appear in the Client Portal.
- Click the Ellipsis (3 dots) on the Custom Block.
- The top Bar is the Title of the Block.
- The Half Width toggle chooser allows you to display the Block in either Half Width or Full Width.
- Options > Block Content, add in specific HTML or redirect link.
- Options > Remove to remove the Block if necessary. The block will only be removed once you have clicked Save.
- Should you need to add the Block again, you can add it back in by clicking on Click on Edit Layout. and then +Add Block (located at the top of the page).
- The Widgets box will open. Repeat step 6 above. The block will now be added back in.
- To edit the layout, click on Edit Layout and this will allow you to move each block around by hovering over the block, and when the hand appears over the block, click and hold over the block and move it. Once finished, click on Turn edit mode off.
- Click Save.
