Checking what’s actually been released
Open Settings and scroll all the way to the bottom. Just above two links, View Changelog and Roadmap, you’ll see your release number and when it was last updated, something like a hash followed by a number, with “updated 3 days ago” underneath it. That line alone tells you at a glance how recently a release actually went out.
The Changelog
Click View Changelog and you’ll get a full list of every release, each one dated, with everything included in it listed underneath. Entries are tagged as either a feature or a bug fix, each with its own description of what actually changed.
It’s searchable too, so if you’re after a specific update, or checking whether something you’ve been waiting on has shipped yet, search for it directly rather than scrolling through every release.
The Roadmap
Roadmap sits just below View Changelog in the sidebar. This is where you suggest a feature, report a bug, and vote on what other people have already suggested.
Votes matter here. The team tends to prioritise whatever’s been upvoted the most, so a request with real support behind it is more likely to get picked up sooner than one sitting quietly with no votes at all.
You can filter the roadmap by category, sort by newest or by most voted, and filter by status, done, in progress, in review, and so on. There’s a search here too. Click into any item to see its full details, vote it up or down yourself, or leave a comment if you’ve got thoughts to add.
Making A Suggestion
From the roadmap, click Make a Suggestion. Give it a title, choose a category, choose whether it’s a feature request or a bug report, and write up the details, one suggestion per post rather than several bundled into one.
Click Create Post, and it goes to the team for approval. Once approved, it’s visible on the roadmap for everyone else to see, vote on, and track.
Staying in the Loop
Vote on something, or create it yourself, and you’ll be notified whenever it changes, a status update or a new comment. That’s what lets you follow a suggestion all the way through, from being raised to actually shipping, without having to keep checking back on it yourself.
